Longtime KMOV (Channel 4) reporter Alexis Zotos is stepping away from TV news.
In a , Zotos announced her pending departure from the channel, saying she was "officially breaking up with breaking news." She said the decision didn't come lightly.
"I'm ready for a new rhythm, one that allows more time with my family and space to create on my own terms," Zotos wrote. "So I'm stepping away from the newsroom and stepping into the next chapter of working for myself."
Zotos works as a general assignment reporter and hosts a podcast, "Meet ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½."
Her last day at KMOV will be April 30.
