Southwest Airlines will begin weekly nonstop flights to West Palm Beach, Fla., next March 9 from ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ amid spring training at the Cardinals' complex in nearby Jupiter.
The flights to Palm Beach International Airport will be limited to Saturdays.
Jeff Lea, a spokesman for ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Lambert International Airport, said Southwest has described the service as seasonal.
He said the airline has said the flights will run through April but whether they would continue after that has yet to be announced.
Lea said this will be a new nonstop destination from Lambert. The Cardinals complex at Roger Dean Stadium is 17 miles from the airport.
