The dunning has begun again on former ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Mayor Freeman R. Bosley Jr.
The city's revenue collector filed suit June 2 against Bosley for failure to pay 2016 personal property taxes.
The suit, filed by Collector of Revenue Gregory F.X. Daly, contends that Bosley owes $860 —$547 in taxes and $313 in court costs and penalties. The suit also names Marjorie Bosley, the former mayor's mother who died in 2008. Bosley could not be reached for comment.
Just earlier this year, Bosley had extricated himself from a variety of legal and financial tangles.
His law license was restored in December 2016 after the state Supreme Court had suspended it in 2014 for using client funds as a "personal piggy bank†to pay personal expenses.

In August 2016, Bosley paid off tax liens filed by the Missouri Department of Revenue, which claimed Bosley owed $3,159 in individual income taxes.
Also last year, Bosley settled two malpractice suits that involved him failing to show up in court and not filing necessary motions for a client's case.
Bosley, a Democrat, was elected mayor in 1993, then went into private law practice after he lost a 1997 re-election bid to former ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ Police Chief Clarence Harmon.
