COLUMBIA, Mo. — Missouri is set to lose another defensive end to the spring transfer portal window.
Edge rusher Eddie Kelly Jr. will be entering the portal when it opens Wednesday, his agent confirmed to the Post-Dispatch.
He's the second player from that position group to announce his intent to do so, following Jahkai Lang last week. Mizzou is heavy on depth at D-end, which was prompted some thinning among the players who might not see the field as much in 2025.Â
Kelly appeared in all 13 games in 2024, recording one sack and two batted-down passes. He transferred to MU from Georgia Tech after starting his career at South Florida and is expected to have one year of eligibility remaining.Â
The Tigers' defensive end room now contains Zion Young, Damon Wilson II, Darris Smith, Nate Johnson, Javion Hilson and Langden Kitchen.
