William Ownes, Jr., 31, of Riverview, was shot in the head following a robbery early Wednesday morning in the parking lot of Diana's Royal Palace.
The incident, between two cars exchanging gunfire, required police to shut down the highway for several hours as they looked for evidence.
The man was identified by police as Henry Floyd, who lived in the same block where he was found shot.
